RED RIVER GORGE - March 08

Let's go back a bit.

The Red in the Spring.  Sounds good right?
Try this: a trip doomed from the start.
Northwest Airlines decided to keep David's gear for one more day.  He looked mighty sharp climbing in his street clothes!
A blizzard hit the road at 2:00 am to welcome us to the Gorge.
Tony decided to take chances and brought three climbing shoes.  In his great wisdom though, he did bring at least one right and one left.
Sophie found her inner evil and tried to poison Tony with Naproxen.  The result was quite convincing as the "poisonee" spent the better part of the night scratching his itchy body.  David had decided he should just shoot him to ease the pain, while Sophie went on a run to get more drugs ( she probably thought it would work better the second time).
David's luggage were delivered on that doomed night at 3:00 am by a man to fat to make it up the stairs....
Tony recovered... to fall sick again (no Sophie had nothing to do with that one... she was gone), probably to be pampered by his good friend David who had flown from Oregon just for that!

And yes we did manage to climb quite a bit.  Go figure
